Golden Globes- Best Dressed

#1 Stunna!! Emily Blunt

That's my other girl!

Golden Globes 2010- Eww Why??

There were a lot of misses but I didn't feel like posting them all. Below are some disappointments.

Golden Globes 2010- Drew Improvement

I am glad Drew Barrymore discovered a bra (and allegedly a breast reduction).

QUITE AN IMPROVEMENT FROM THIS FIASCO. REMEMBER THIS?? CRIMINAL!

Golden Globes 2010- The Unoriginals.

Why does Lea Michele in this dress remind me of Penelope Cruz??? I swear I feel like I have seen Penelope in this dress/look before.

Is this the dress I am thinking of? If there is another please post it in comments but I swear I have seen her in a dress similar to Lea's above.

Kate's dress reminds me of Nicole's from years ago on top at least. And I dislike the shoes.

Sort of Confused.

Why is Jessica Biel on the cover of Vogue?? THE COVER guys. Not an inside spread. THE COVER. What has she been in that was relevant recently or that is coming up. Don't say Valentine's Day.
But there are much better actresses to put on your cover like Emily Blunt or Zoe Saldana. Zoe is in the biggest movie in years! I know the magazines are done way in advance, but everyone knew Avatar was going to be huge. Isn't Vogue supposed to have incredible foresight?

Couldn't they relegate Jessica to the not as important January issue? They put Rachel McAdams, a MUCH better and well loved actress on the cover of the January issue. Looking heinous I might add. Forgive me because I LOVE Rachel McAdams, I just know that she could have looked soooo much better.

Anyway the reason she was given the cover is because Anna loves Justin Timberlake, Jessica's boyfriend. Remember they co-chaired the Costume Institute Gala last year. On a positive note, I do think it is very sweet and unbelievably supportive of Justin to hook his girlfriend up with such a prestigious score. I have dated one or two connected guys and they certainly did not do anything like that for me...

Hello Lovely

How adorable is Rachel Bilson? She is another lovely little thing I would like to see in more films or television shows.

The Big Easy

New Orleans has quickly become one of my favorite cities. I was there over the new years break and had the time of my life. Amazing dinners at Galatoire's and Pascal Manale's and a lovely brunch at the famous Commander's Palace. At Pascal Manale's Thomas "Uptown T" is a legend at their oyster bar. I was there last April during Jazz fest and when I saw him on New Years eve he remembered me! How sweet.

On Magazine street was a consignment store called The Funky Monkey. I thought nothing of it as I was dragged inside but after combing through the racks I found some interesting things, a dress from Tibi and Marchesa Notte. I walked out with the Marchesa for $54. Imagine! I will post photos when I wear it to an upcoming wedding this March.
Also on Magazine street I discovered a shop named Retro Active that has wonderful antiques and vintage furs, belts, bags, hats and so much more. This is the vintage Whiting and Davis purse that I bought. I think its such a sophisticated and polished addition to my my wardrobe.
Finally I ABSOLUTELY fell in love with this house (I tend to fall in love with houses when I am walking around the Garden District.) Dare to dream that one day it will be wrapped in a bow and presented to me like Steve Martin did in an old movie called "The Housesitter." It is for sale. Someone informed me that it is the house that was in Benjamin Button. I need to watch that movie ASAP.
